“Everyone is doing it!” Right? NO! More young people, just like you, are choosing to start saving sex for marriage! Are you living a life of integrity? You are not alone. Have you ever thought about the influence you could have on others? It could be powerful! As someone that has lived through the pressures of being a teenager – you have the opportunity to influence the lives of younger teens by turning negative pressures into positive pressures. Many times teens want to stand up for the right things; they just need to know that they are not alone and that someone their age will stand with them.
ReL8 recognizes the great impact older teens can have on younger teens. Peer 8 Leaders are older teens who have agreed to live a life of integrity (saving sex for marriage, remaining totally drug/alcohol/smoke-free, and being accountable to their fellow students). Peer 8 uses Teen Advisors one-of-a-kind method for highly effective peer-mentoring known as “Classroom Sessions.” As an upperclassmen, Peer 8 members lead the younger students through activities that teach about having a lifestyle of integrity, and they share from personal experience on how they have dealt with various issues that are important to teens.
