Our greatest asset at ReL8 is our staff and volunteers - Team 8. The message of ReL8 is important, but the "messengers" - or Team 8 members are just as, or even more important. Members of Team 8 are committed to ReL8's core values - specifially saving sex for marriage.

Edwardsville Administrative Office
Director of ReL8: Julie Mayfield has been with ReL8 since its inception in January 2006. She oversees training and evaluation of ReL8 Educators as well as manages ReL8's CBAE grant - but her true passion is being in the classsroom. Julie received her B.A. in Speech Communication from Webster University (St. Louis, MO).

Director of Administration: Kara Griffith joined ReL8 in June of 2009. She assists ReL8 through administrative and marketing support. Kara is passionate about working to preserve innocence for today's youth and is excited to be part of the ReL8 mission. Kara received her B.A. in Communications from the University of Missouri- St. Louis.

ReL8 Educator: Jillian Van Daley strongly believes in teaching abstinence as the healthiest lifestyle before marriage. She joined the ReL8 team in November 2007. Jillian received her B.A. in Mass Communications at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (Illinois).

ReL8 Educator: Lesli Hornyak joined the ReL8 team in October 2007 because of her passion to share with teens the importance of saving sex for marriage. She has a B. A. in Psychology from North Greenville University (South Carolina).

ReL8 Educator: Blythe Carlson is thrilled to be a part of the ReL8 team and wholeheartedly enjoys the chance to be a positive influence among teens and share with them the importance of abstinence until marriage. Blythe received her B.S. in Theater and Dance from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville which has given her the opportunity to teach the art of dance and be involved and active with the teenagers in her community for the past six years.

ReL8 Educator: Elisa Strange was excited to join the ReL8 team in March 2008 because of the positive message that ReL8 delivers in a world saturated with negative messages. Elisa is excited to let teenagers in her area know that they do have the power to save themselves for marriage and make good choices now that affect their future in a positive way. Elisa received her B.S. in Health Studies and Community Health from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.

ReL8 Educator: Missy Culpepper has developed a passion for counseling and mentoring teens. She is a ReL8 presenter who believes wholeheartedly in the message of abstinence and is eager to share this message with the youth in her area. She received her B.S. in Education from Grace College in 2004 (Indiana).

ReL8 Educator: Tiffany Daniel is passionate about helping the youth in her area, by spreading a positive message about abstinence and all it has to offer to teens. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston Illinois with a B.A in psychology in 2008, and joined the ReL8 team in July.
